a warrior fell in an uneven battle with a necromancer and his minons...Ironically, the necromancer was cut down by the Order of the Light in the middle of the ritual that was supposed to raise the warrior's body as a ghoul, the warrior's spirit not yet severed from his body, his will still his own. In his last breath the necromancer uttered a spell that bound the warrior to avenge his death. Now this warrior walks the land torn between the curse that binds him and his own free will.
I felt like thinking up some story to justify a clothes-wearing sword-wielding ghoul with tribal scarifications :> |
